Project Description:

A quick turn around renovation of what was a run down heritage cottage in Manly NSW completed successfully by GB Home Builders. We had the pleasure of assisting this home owner renovate, and sell this property in record time along with providing expert advise on remedial works and cost savings. The 3 bedroom cottage was in a very deteriorated state and required many urgent repair works along with freshening up to reinvigorate it with a more modern interior and exterior.

Before Image. Challenges: A very tight budget meant that our team had to work very closely in planning the finishes and repair methods to minimize costs whilst adhering to the desired outcome. The final outcome was a success in terms of time, cost and quality and the newly renovated cottage was sold within days of completion. Construction and project overview:

This project involved demolishing a non compliant extension at the rear of the property and reconstructing a larger extension involving a bathroom, laundry, kitchen and living room along with renovating the current bathrooms, bedrooms and other living areas including the landscaping and facade. The project also involved multiple remedial tasks including repairing external retaining walls, repairing the rendered facade and underpinning of existing structures.
