The Brief: Upgrade Without Overhauling

Christoff wanted to update key areas of the home, which was beginning to show signs of age. The renovation focused on:

Adding a new bedroom for additional space
A complete balcony renovation to replace worn materials
Installing premium sliding doors to open up the living area
Executing essential remedial works to maintain the home's structure

The Build: Blending Old and New

Extra Bedroom Addition: We added an extra spacious bedroom, carefully designed to match the home’s existing style. Natural light, energy-efficient windows, and integrated storage made the room both practical and in harmony with the rest of the home.
Balcony Renovation: The original balcony had become weathered and unsafe over time. We rebuilt it with new tiles and waterproofing, glass and stainless steel balustrades, and weatherproof finishes — creating a safe, stylish space perfect for entertaining or enjoying the views of the Northern Beaches.
Premium Sliding Doors: To improve light and airflow, we installed floor-to-ceiling sliding doors between the living area and the upgraded balcony. These doors enhanced the connection between indoors and out, a must-have feature for homes across Sydney.
Remedial Works: Being 20 years old, the home needed several updates, including but not limited to replacing water-damaged ceiling, upgrading outdated electricals and plumbing, Improving external cladding to prevent future issues
