FRESHWATER KNOCKDOWN REBUILD
We have had the pleasure of building this jaw dropping 3 Storey beach mansion in the heart of Freshwater beach that boasts a breathtaking view, large entertaining areas, state of the art bespoke kitchen, marble bathrooms, a passenger lift and numerous other features.
BENNETT AVENUE DARLING POINT
Situated in one of the most prestigious localities in Sydney, surrounded by only prime real estate this run down terrace required a much needed make over. This is exactly what Ross and his partner set out to do in preparation for their long awaited retirement when they initially approached us. The project involved a complete gutting down of the terrace, a lot of remedial work and a complete redesign and renovation of the interior and exterior facade of this home. The result is a very practical and personal high end terrace that is now a much loved and cherrished home for the elderly couple.
RILEY ST WOOLLOOMOOLOO
A historic terrace situated within walking distance of the Sydney CBD. Our task was to completely gut this 3 storey terrace, demolish the rear section and add a 2 storey extension. The home owners Ian and Yun were extremely happy with the final result and have left a wonderful video testimonial for us. The new home consists of high end bespoke cabinetry, stunning marble bathrooms, a glass floor, skylights throughout and a very cosy and serence new rear yard consisting of a new deck, pergola and garden beds.
THORNLEIGH NEW HOME
Situated on one of the highest points of Thornleigh, this quirky shaped architectural show piece designed to highly effective eco standards boasts breath taking landscape views that are captured from the balconies of this home. A strategically designed building that takes advantage of geomancy and ecological principles to create an internal atmosphere that is cool in summer and warm in winter. This restricted access to this home made this a very challenging in build which we achieved successfully working closely with Gareth Cole from Smart Eco Group.
THE PONDS NEW HOME
A stunning bespoke home architecturally designed and built to the specific needs and tastes of a very lovely couple who wanted their dream home built in the Hills Shire. We had the opportunity to turn this design into reality, a design which highlights a facade that comprises curves walls, feature brick walls and Alucobond finishings that complement the white exterior of this home. Another challenging but enjoyable build delivered by our team to a very happy couple.
SOUTH DOWLINNG ST DARLINGHURST
We were approached by a property developer teamed up with a renowned designer and photographer who had purchased this heritage listed terrace with a vision to transform it to a home that combines the feelings of heritage, modernity and nature. As always, at GB Home Builders we accepted the challenge knowing there was a very tight budget constraint making the outcome more complex to achieve. We worked very closely with the client, provided many cost saving solutions that gave the same look and feel, and we were so pleased with the outcome that pictures could not do it justice.
DENISTONE EAST KNOCKDOWN REBUILD
With simplicity and functionality in mind, this elegant brick veneer home with its special gloss brick facade makes a bold statement. Custom designed and built for a small growing family who wanted this home tailored to their needs and specifications, this 2 Storey, 5-bedroom home in the Ryde City Council area with high end finishes, high ceilings and centralised locality is truly an ideal family home. Our team and GB had a wonderful experience constructing this home for a lovely family who were very grateful for our assistance.
PITTWATER ROAD MANLY HOME RENOVATION
A quick turn around renovation of what was a run down heritage cottage in Manly NSW completed successfully by GB Home Builders. We had the pleasure of assisting this home owner renovate, and sell this property in record time along with providing expert advise on remedial works and cost savings. The 3 bedroom cottage was in a very deteriorated state and required many urgent repair works along with freshening up to reinvigorate it with a more modern interior and exterior.
